The following simple hardwired setup will be our new test case. We discovered there is a breakout board for generating simple sounds. This will save us some time instead of trying to cut all of our own soundtracks. We are currently working on this implementation.
We then will modify our system with bluetooth in order to minimize battery usage for long event (10+ hours). The speaker and lighting can be entirely driven by wall power instead of battery this way. We can also omit the lighting on the tire chain. As we have all the parts required, this implementation should be fine tuned and ready by early-April.
In the future, if we decide to do more complex sounds and graphics we will move to producing visuals and sounds via openFrameworks.
